First Aid at Work
The “industrial” first aider qualification. Run over 18 hours this course is recognised by H.S.E. and covers all aspects of first aid in the workplace setting including; definition of first aid, personal safety and assessing the scene, primary survey and summoning help, the causes of unconsciousness, secondary survey and the recovery position, principles of resuscitation, C.P.R. and the use of an AED, burns, bleeding, shock, fractures and joint injuries, contents of the first aid kit, accidents and reporting legislation.
Exam on day 3. Upon successful completion candidates will be awarded a certificate which is valid for three years.

Refresher First Aid at Work
Two day refresher course for holders of a current first at work certificate. Exam on day two. Upon successful completion candidates will be awarded a certificate which is valid for three years. Evidence of previous, in date qualification required.
Course duration: 12 hours including exam
Emergency First Aid at Work
H.S.E. Recognised first aid qualification. Subjects covered include; resuscitation, C.P.R. and the use of an AED, first aid for the bleeding or wounded person, medical emergencies, first aid kits and record keeping.
Upon successful completion candidates will be awarded a certificate of attendance which is valid for three years.

Paediatric First Aid Course
A course which complies with the training objectives set out by OFSTED, ESTYN and Early Years foundation stage, for paediatric first aid in the early years setting. All childcare settings must have at least one staff member trained in paediatric first aid, however you must still carry out a risk assessment of first aid needs which should address the provision of first aiders in the workplace in addition to paediatric first aiders.
Upon successful completion candidates will be awarded a certificate which is valid for three years.
Course duration: 12 hours
Forestry Plus First Aid
A standard first aid course which has additional elements added. These additional elements are a requirement of The Forestry Commission.
Course duration: Normal course timings plus 1 hour
Outdoor Leaders First Aid (R.E.C.)
A two day First Aid course fulfilling the requirements of the Mountain Leaders Training Board and AALA. Subjects covered include; resuscitation, first aid for the bleeding or wounded person, medical emergencies, first aid kits, dealing with casualties in remote environments and record keeping.
Upon successful completion candidates will be awarded a certificate of attendance which is valid for three years.
Course duration: 16 hours
Basic Rescitation
A basic course covering Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation as required by healthcare professionals (e.g. doctors, nurses, care workers). It is recommended that this course is repeated annually.
Course duration: 3 hours
Automatic External Defibrillation (AED)
A basic course covering Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation and the use of an AED. It is recommended that this course is repeated annually.
